Our visiting care service is built entirely around your routine. You decide how often you would like support, what time of day works best for you, and what you would like your carer to help with during each visit. Some of our clients see their carer once a day for a morning routine; others have two or three visits spread through the day and evening. We are flexible, and we build our schedule around your life — not a standard template.

One of the most valued aspects of our visiting care service is consistency. We work hard to ensure that you see the same carer, or a small and familiar group of carers, rather than a rotating stream of unfamiliar faces. Wellbridge Care's respite service provides temporary, professional cover so that you can step back knowing that your loved one is in safe, capable and compassionate hands. We take continuity very seriously — every respite arrangement begins with a thorough handover, and your loved one's routine, preferences and needs are respected and maintained exactly as they would be with you.

Respite care can be arranged at very short notice in an emergency, or planned well in advance for a holiday, a period of personal recovery or simply a sustained period of rest. There is no minimum or maximum duration — we work to your timetable.

At the heart of this service is a commitment to finding, matching and retaining the right specialist for each client. We do not simply assign a carer based on availability. We invest significant time in understanding the client as a whole person — their medical history, their personality, their communication style, their values, their interests and their daily patterns — and then identify the individual from our network of specialist carers and nurses who is uniquely suited to them.

Once the placement is established, the relationship is closely and continuously supported by a dedicated Wellbridge Care coordinator who remains in regular contact with the client, the carer, the family and any involved clinical teams. Nothing is left to chance, and no concern — however small — is ever dismissed or left unaddressed.
